A convenience fee of 2.5% of the amount paid to Jefferson County RWD #9 will be added to your credit/debit card account by the payment service provider. These convenience fees are NOT initiated nor collected by Jefferson County RWD #9, and WE DO NOT receive the fee amount for any transaction. The State program, Kan Pay, collects the fees for their services. And a convenience fee of $1.50 per electronic check will be added by the payment service provider if you choose to do an electronic check.
For a typical monthly bill of $37.00, the charge for using a credit/debit card will add $0.93 to your cost. However, a larger use account, for example 5,000 gallons per month, the total would be $58.43 (Our charge of $57.00 plus the convenience fee of $1.43).
DIRECTIONS:
To pay your monthly bill on-line, use this website and click on the "PAY YOUR BILL ONLINE NOW!". The link will transfer you to the State Program, KAN PAY, to enter your account and payment amount. You can find your account number and current amount due on your billing postcard that is sent out every month. REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST ENTER A CORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER for us to properly process your payment. After entering your account number, you can then enter the amount due and click NEXT.
The next screen will be where you enter in your customer information. IF YOU WANT A RECEIPT, MAKE SURE AND ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON THIS PAGE, otherwise you will not get a receipt for the transaction. Click NEXT and then you will enter your payment information and then you can submit your payment.
THEY DO NOT STORE YOUR INFORMATION, so each month you will need to enter all the information in again.
We are working with our bank to be able to offer the ability to do recurring ACH payments. We will let you know when that becomes available.
